FlightHad a flying dream last night. An odd one. I don't remember how it started, but I remember being able to fly. I had a punk rocker friend who kept trying to persuade me to give it up. I went to meet him at his house, dropped down from the sky, and asked a neighbor who was mostly hidden under some leaves for directions to his house. I went in, and he told me that he used to be able to fly, but he gave it up, because with it all things come to you without any difficulty, and without problems, life isn't worth living. I think time travel was also involved, because he was interrupted, so I flew to an earlier time to continue our conversation. We talked some more, and he went back inside his house. I saw myself dropping from the sky, so I quickly covered myself in leaves and pretended to be a neighbor when I asked for directions. I even changed my voice. After that I started walking, with The Power pulling my legs upward, when I was cornered by some old friends of my mother, who quickly found out that I could fly (when my legs started lifting up to the level of my head and stayed there) and told me that a different friend of my mother could also fly, and she had always given them rides around. I left them, and flew off. I got to the stained glass window of what looked like a church, and flew through it, which didn't break it. (I think I flew around it while flying through it.) Inside was a combination music club and sex club. I remember dancing with a very attractive girl for a while. Around then I awoke. Actually, I think I'm getting the order worng. Yes, first came the punk, then the club, and then the friends of my mother, and THEN I awoke. That was it. Very strange. I remember distinctly the sensation. It didn't involve any muscular effort. It was a will thing, like lifting your arm, but you just lifted your body. I remember doing jumping jacks where my hands stayed at the same height and my body moved up and down, as a joke. I want to fly. Time travel and passing through things would be nice. But I just want to fly.
